Frequently asked questions.

Quick answers about pricing, accounts, connections, diagnostics and privacy.

What is Virtelink?

Virtelink is an iPhone and iPad utility for network diagnostics and for importing, validating, storing and connecting authorized WireGuard and OpenVPN profiles.

Is Virtelink free?

Yes. The first App Store release is a free download and contains no in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Do I need an account?

No. The current release has no Virtelink account, sign-in or cloud profile sync.

Does Virtelink include VPN servers?

No. Virtelink does not sell or supply nodes, accounts, subscriptions, or acceleration services. You import a configuration for a server you are authorized to use.

Which configuration files are supported?

The current app supports WireGuard .conf and OpenVPN .ovpn files. Actual compatibility depends on the directives, credentials, certificates, and server configuration.

Where are profiles stored?

Imported profiles are stored in the app’s protected local container and used by the iOS Network Extension. They are not uploaded to a Virtelink account or backend.

What does a diagnostic test send?

DNS uses the resolver available to iOS. TCP and TLS tests contact the host and port you enter. Public IP refresh contacts Cloudflare’s trace endpoint. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Does Virtelink upload my imported configuration files?

No Virtelink backend receives imported profiles. The app copies them into its protected local App Group container so the Network Extension can connect. A profile’s chosen VPN server necessarily receives connection traffic when you connect.

Why does a network test fail?

Common causes include a misspelled host, DNS resolver failure, a blocked or closed port, timeout, a rejected connection, TLS certificate or protocol mismatch, captive portal, firewall, or a changing network path.

Does Virtelink work offline?

You can view and manage saved profiles, settings and prior reports offline. Public IP checks, live diagnostics and VPN connections require appropriate network access.

How do I delete local diagnostic history?

Open Settings, choose Clear diagnostic history, and confirm. You can also use Clear above Previous tests on the Diagnostics screen.

How do I contact support?

Email virtelink@crystalmeadow.world. Include the app version, iOS version, issue type and exact error text, but never send a complete profile, private key, password or token.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Delete individual profiles or all profiles in the app, clear diagnostic history, and separately remove any saved Virtelink VPN configuration in iOS Settings. See Data & Privacy Choices for details.
